A Different Perspective
Your skin isn't broken.
It may simply need to be better understood.
About Live Pretty Wellness
Every skin has its own sweet spot.
Live Pretty Wellness was created from a simple belief: healthy skin starts with understanding your skin.
Acne-prone skin isn't one-size-fits-all. What works beautifully for one person may be too much — or simply not right — for another. The products you use, the prescriptions you need, your lifestyle, and even how much your skin can tolerate are personal.
That's why I believe in understanding your skin first, then building a strategy around what works for you. Because when you understand your skin, skincare starts to make a lot more sense.

Meet Jean
From my acne journey to yours.
Jean, NP — Founder
I've had acne-prone skin since I was sixteen, and for years it was aggressive, cystic acne.
It affected more than my skin. I was self-conscious, depressed, spent a lot of time indoors, and found myself constantly checking mirrors because I was so focused on how my skin looked.
I tried prescriptions, saw dermatologists, and hoped the next product would finally be the answer. Some things helped. Some didn't.
The biggest shift came when I stopped treating my skin like something that needed to be constantly fixed and started learning how to understand it — what it tolerated, what made it worse, and what actually helped it stay balanced.
That changed the way I approached skincare — and eventually, the way I approached care altogether.
After being diagnosed with cancer, I became even more intentional about the choices I made for my body and my health. Thankfully, I'm now cancer-free, but that experience changed me. It made me think more carefully about medications, daily habits, wellness, and how all the pieces fit together.
I'm a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with nearly two decades in nursing, but Live Pretty Wellness came from being both the provider and the person searching for answers.
I created it to help people make sense of their skin and their health with care that feels personal, thoughtful, and clear.
Your skin has its own story. Your care should reflect that.

Personalized Skincare Strategy
Your skin deserves its own strategy.
There isn't one routine, product, or prescription that's right for everyone.
Your Personalized Skincare Strategy begins with understanding your skin — your history, what you've tried, what you're using now, how your skin responds, and what you're hoping to improve.
Together, we'll make sense of what's working, what may need to change, and build a clear, personalized plan designed around your skin and your goals.
The Clear Skin Pathway
A framework for healthier skin.
My approach is guided by the Clear Skin Pathway — a simple framework for thinking about what the skin may need as it moves toward greater stability and healthier function.

The pathway provides the framework. Your personalized strategy determines what that pathway looks like for you.
